Common questions
Do I need an account to share text?

No. You can paste text and get a shareable link right away. A free account adds editing, history, titles, custom endings, and access controls.

Is a paste private by default?

A new paste is not posted in Discover, but anyone who receives its URL can open it. Use password protection when the text needs stronger access control.

Can readers change my text?

No. The reading controls only change the local display size. Signed-in owners can edit the saved paste from their dashboard.

What kinds of text can I share?

Share notes, checklists, code snippets, instructions, reading lists, drafts, and other plain text up to 100,000 characters.
