I always pictured the internet floating in some cloud — turns out it's lying on the ocean floor. This map shows every undersea cable carrying the world's data, glowing like neon veins across the deep blue, and you can click any cable to see where it lands and who laid it. Weirdly beautiful, and you'll never look at 'the cloud' the same way again.
