I fell into this one for way too long last night. Histography is an interactive timeline where every dot is a historic event pulled from Wikipedia — drag the bar at the bottom and you can slide through the eras, watching centuries pile up and empires come and go like weather systems. I parked myself in the 1600s and just... kept going. There's something oddly humbling about seeing how much has happened while your scroll thumb is still somewhere in the Middle Ages. Which era would you zoom into first?
