Learning
I've started carrying a tiny notebook for things I learn from strangers. Not facts, exactly — more like small observations. A taxi driver who knows every shortcut by the smell of food stalls. A baker who reads the weather in how her dough rises. I used to think learning meant sitting still with a book. Now I'm pretty sure most of it happens out in the world, eyes open, asking the second question. What's something you learned from the most unexpected teacher?
